UNICEF: 6000 Children Are To Die Everyday Globally

An analysis by the United Nations Humanitarian Organisation has revealed that countries may lose 6,000 children daily globally.

According to UNICEF, the research was carried out in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School Of Public Health. The research journal concluded that there will be a increased maternal and child death as a result interrupted medical routine service for pregnant women and nursing mothers.

According to Geoffrey Njoku, UNICEF Nigeria Communication Specialist, ten countries are most likely to witness the highest child mortality rates including, Mali, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Lesotho, Eswatini, Djibouti, Liberia and Somalia.
