Vincent-EnyeamaNigerian Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama needs 140 minutes of clean sheet time to equal the all-time French League record of most minutes gone without conceding.

The man in between the sticks for second placed Lille played out 1035 minutes without conceding a goal when his side defeated Jordan Ayew’s Marseille 1-0 at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Tuesday night.

The African Cup of Nations-winning goalkeeper has not conceded a goal in his last 11 outings in the league, with Lille managing nine wins during this period. In all, he’s overseen an overly impressive 14 clean sheets in 16 games this season.

His exploits have helped propel Lille to second place on the log, heavily breathing down the neck of leaders PSG.

Lille are away to Bordeaux this weekend, and Enyeama will hope to chalk another clean sheet to draw ever closer to the record of 1135 minutes, set 20 years ago.
