Disturbing news making the rounds now is about the alleged request for about N3000 to N5000 from visitors who want to catch a glimpse of the gravesite of late Nigerian rapper, Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun, better known as Dagrin.
Dagrin died on April 22, 2010, after he was involved in a ghastly auto accident in Mushin area of Lagos State, while returning from a function.
According to reports making the rounds, a reporter attached to one of the media houses in Nigeria had gone to the burial site of Dagrin in Ebony Private Vault, but was stopped at the gate by the security official manning the place .
The journalist was reportedly asked to part with at least N3000 before he could see the resting place of the late rapper.
When asked the rationale behind that, he was told that since the late Misofunyin Entertainment boss was laid to rest, no one has come to take care of his gravesite, adding that they (security officials) have been doing that so, the reason for the ‘gate fee’.
Dagrin was buried amidst tears in 2010.
