A white lesbian woman identiied Mayra Gavilanez-Alectus 48 has beaten her partner, 32-year-old black woman, Rebecca Gavilanez-Alectus to death with a wine chiller in New Jersey, US, police said on Tuesday.

The duo were married. It was gathered that concerned neighbours had called police to an apartment on Creek Road in Brick on Sunday after receiving a call about an“unresponsive female.”
When they arrived they discovered the lifeless body of 32-year-old Rebecca Gavilanez-Alectus in the bedroom. Although authorities didn’t describe how she died, the medical examiner later determined it was a homicide and “a cylindrical container used for the purpose of chilling wine was utilized in the commission of the murder,” the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.
Officials are now hunting for Mayra Gavilanez-Alectus, 48, the victim’s wife and her suspected killer.“Further investigation ultimately determined that Mayra Gavilanez-Alectus did, in fact, cause the victim’s death,” officials said. She faces multiple charges, including murder.
However, authorities said she is presently considered a fugitive. “Our focus now is to find Mayra Gavilanez-Alectus and bring her into custody,” Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.
